Professional negligence

The Partners have acted in cases involving failures of duty by Solicitors, Architects, Accountants, Surveyors and other professionals in connection with claims brought against them or on their behalf in relation to mistakes which amount to breaches of duty.

Our approach is to explore the issues fully with the Insurers for the professional concerned under the Pre-Action Protocol for professional negligence in order to avoid Court proceedings wherever possible.

Funding may be available and the Practice has good relationships with funders and insurers specialising in professional negligence claims.  This approach can protect you from the need to finance litigation from cashflow and adverse costs orders.
